Position Announcement – 8th Grade Physical Science + Innovation Teacher
Sea Crest School seeks an innovative and experienced 8th Grade Physical Science +
Innovation Teacher for the 2015-2016 school year.
Position Description
The 8th Grade Physical Science + Innovation Teacher is responsible for science
instruction for two sections of 8th grade students. This role will work in close
conjunction with our iLab Manager to facilitate curricular integration in our Innovation
Lab space. In addition, the teacher is responsible for providing a classroom
management system compatible with the school’s philosophy, and differentiating
instruction to meet student needs.
Classroom Responsibilities
●" Create a comprehensive and dynamic 8th grade science program.
●" Prepare and execute thoughtful units of study designed to reach the different
learning styles of the students in the classroom.
●" Regularly assess student learning using a variety of tools and means and
maintain regular communication with parents and administrators about student
progress.
●" Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment.

Position Announcement – Bookkeeper
Sea Crest School seeks an experienced Bookkeeper.
Position Description
The Bookkeeper assists the Business Office in the execution of financial processing, reporting and planning. S/he
reports to the Director of Finance and Operations (DFO).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•! Processes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, bank deposits, payroll and 1099 tax documents.
•! Assists the DFO with various schedules in preparation for the annual financial audit.
•! Processes cash/check/credit card receipts, applies to customer invoices where appropriate and prepares deposit
for the bank.
•! Performs monthly bank account reconciliations in a timely manner, recording any interest earned or bank
charges where appropriate.
•! Prepares and mails invoices for tuition, facilities rental and after school care. Alerts the DFO to potential
collection problems in accounts receivable.
•! Processes and posts tuition payments from FACTS Management Services for deposits automatically posted
to the checking account.
•! Processes ADP semi-monthly payroll using online access; prepares and posts the journal entry to QuickBooks;
maintains payroll records and prepares annual reconciliation for W-2’s; prepares schedule of pension
contributions and FSA withholding for payment.
•! Manages data entry and analysis of school donors.
•! Assists Director of Advancement with compiling and sending large mailings of donor recognition and
marketing materials.
•! Reconciles donor contributions recorded in QuickBooks with Advancement database. Alerts DFO and DA of
any discrepancies.
•! Performs other duties and oversees special assignments as necessary or assigned by the DFO.

Position Announcement – Technology Support Technician
Sea Crest School seeks a Technology Support Technician (TST). The TST will report to the Technology Integration and
Computer Science Teacher and have the objective of providing support for the school’s technology devices, including
those of staff as well as classroom and student 1-to-1 devices. The primary goal is to assist in maintaining the productivity
of users in an innovative and collaborative school. The position is part-time (6 hours/week) with flexible weekday
scheduling. It may require weekend work occasionally during the school year. Anticipated start date: 16th July, 2015.
Position Description
The TST provides support for needs and questions of computer users and trouble-shooting issues relating to
stand-alone personal computers, laptops, SMART Technology products, iPads and personal devices as well as
various software programs.

Assists with the general maintenance of all school technology equipment.
Assists with the daily software and hardware troubleshooting of all school technological equipment.
Diagnose and complete simple hardware repairs.
Perform software updates and re-installations on personal computers (mostly MacBooks) for teachers’ and
lab computer.
Install iPad apps and operating system updates for classroom iPads.
Provide classroom technology support (including but not limited to: Smart Boards, projectors, document
cameras, iPads and Chromebooks.
Coordinate off-site repair of laptops, Chromebooks, iPads and other technology equipment as needed.
Assist in maintaining documentation for technology support issues and maintaining accurate inventory of
hardware and software.
Set up and support peripherals including printers, copiers, projectors, scanners and audiovisual equipment as
needed.
Help set up and configure new classroom hardware – Chromebooks, Macbooks and iPads.
Install new software on school technology equipment.
Help troubleshoot basic networking issues, interacting with network support as needed.
Performs other duties and oversees special assignments as necessary or assigned by the Technology
Integration and Computer Science Teacher.
