Latest News Services 1 Day Health & Safety Awareness Course With new Health & Safety regulations coming into force as of 1st July Horohoe have ensured that all operatives have attended and passed the 1 day H&S Awareness Course. Horohoe regularly work closely with clients making sure staff are fully trained for the job in hand. • Timber Framing BAM Health & Safety Advisor, Karl Wiggins, has said: “By putting all operatives through the OneDay H&S Awareness Course, Horohoe has demonstrated not only that Health & Safety is given top priority, but that good communication channels are established and the organisation promotes a strong focus on continuous improvement. This project will provide first class educational facilities to its students and the new buildings are an investment in the local community. The project has delivered a separate girls and boys academy with joint sixth form in four pavilion buildings in an attractive park setting. The students will have the advantage of flexible classrooms and learning spaces with state of the art ICT equipment, a library, theatre and drama studio as well as extensive outdoor facilities. HCL undertook the Rainscreen cladding package which consisted of installing Western Red Cedar boards, Trespa Meteon and Pearl Cembonit cladding, all installed using the NV6 bracketry system. This being external works our fully trained IPAF operatives spent much of their time working at high level from MEWPS. The installation was finished off with aluminium grey capping with secret fixings and welded corners. The first Oireachtas Rince Na Cruinne (World Irish Dancing Championships) were held in 1970 over two days in an auditorium with less than 500 seats. This year was the first time in its history that the Championships were staged in the United Kingdom with over 5000 competitors from all around the world.
