1 Day Health & Safety Awareness Course
With new Health & Safety regulations coming into force as

attended and passed the 1 day H&S Awareness Course.
Horohoe regularly work closely with clients making sure staff

BAM Health & Safety Advisor, Karl Wiggins, has said:
“By putting all operatives through the OneDay H&S Awareness Course, Horohoe
has demonstrated not only that Health &
Safety is given top priority, but that good
communication channels are established
and the organisation promotes a strong
focus on continuous improvement.
It is evident that Horohoe strongly
encourages health and safety related
suggestions and improvements, and
management behaviour strongly reflects
the organisation’s commitment to health
and safety by acting promptly over
concerns as well as ensuring that working
practices are safe. The company’s

commitment to dust elimination is just
one example.
Horohoe’s management are frequently
visible on site, and seen to be doing
the right thing (i.e. leading by example
or questioning unsafe behaviours).
Approachable managers enable workers
to feel comfortable raising issues
and Horohoe’s commitment to UKCG
Standards provides a constant message
of the value the organisation places on a
‘competent’ workforce.”

The 17,800sq m Crest boys Academy and Crest girls Academy in Neasden, London,

its students and the new buildings are an investment in the local community.
The project has delivered a

advantage of flexible classrooms
and learning spaces with state of
the art ICT equipment, a library,
theatre and drama studio as well
as extensive outdoor facilities.

Murchu Duiginn School of Irish Dancing
Horohoe sponsored the Murchu Duiginn
School of Irish Dancing to enable them to purchase
class (school) costumes for their 8 ceili teams
that they had participating in the 2014 World Irish
Dancing Championships. The first Oireachtas Rince
Na Cruinne (World Irish Dancing Championships)
were held in 1970 over two days in an auditorium with
less than 500 seats. This year was the first time in
its history that the Championships were staged in the
United Kingdom with over 5000 competitors from all
