360Rack How to Order Guide The 360Rack Solar PV mount system was designed with the following key objectives; a. Provide a complete “in-box” solution. 4 Panel Metal and Tile Mount Kits. b. Provide Packs of components that act as supplements to the 4 Panel Mount Kits and in pack sizes that doesn’t commit you to large numbers of items that may not be used. c. Introduce truly universal End and Mid Clamps to replace height specific clamps thereby reducing inventories. d. Integrate earthing plates into the key Mid Clamp and Joiner assemblies. Mount Kits The 4 Panel Mount Kits as the name suggests are designed to install a single 4 panel (1650 x 990mm) array without leftover components. The Kits contain all of the required components to attach the rails to the roof and panels to the mount rails. A Bill of Materials (BoM) is provided below.  Metal and Tile Feet: sufficient for compliance to installation requirements for Wind Regions A & B (please consult the 360Rack Installation Manual).  End Clamp Assembly: 4 for the external panel edges. Suitable for panel heights 30– 50mm.  Mid Clamp Assembly: 6 for the internal panel edges. Suitable for panel heights 3050mm.  Joiner Assembly: One pair to join the 4 x 2.08m rails into 2 x 4.16m rails. Note: When joining an array of 4 panels to sequential arrays then additional Mid Clamp and Joiner assemblies need to be purchased.  The 360Rack Items section of our website and our pricelist detail the various item packs and their quantities. Mount System To assist with ordering Solar360 has included a Mount Systems ordering option where we have defined the quantities of 4 Panel Mount Kits and Mount Rails necessary for the installation of systems ranging from 1.5kW to 10kW. A table on our website detailing these quantities and subsequent total number of components is supplied under the Description Tab of the 360Rack Mount area. Please note: These predefined systems do not include the additional components required to join sequential 4 panel arrays. The Joiner Assembly 5 Pair Pack and Mid Clamp Assembly 20 Pack need to be sourced separately and for convenience these selections are also available in the 360Rack Mount Systems section. We took the decision to not include the additional Joiner Pairs and Mid Clamp Assemblies into our Mount Kits to prevent the rapid build up of surplus components. By keeping the pack sizes to 10 – 20 assemblies, we believe they are of sufficient size for use with 10-15kW of panels but small enough that you are not committed to buying what may become excess stock. Tilt Kits The 360Rack Tilt Kits comprise 4 preassembled Tilt frames, rail clamps and fastener components to mount a 4 panel array in compliance with installation requirements for Wind Regions A & B (please consult the 360Rack Installation Manual). Panel mount assemblies and rails are to be ordered separately. Please refer to the 360Rack Items section of the Solar360 website. Wind Region C Requirements The standard 360Rack Mount Kits and Tilt Kits are designed for Wind Region A & B compliance. The more stringent wind load conditions found in Wind Region C necessitates the use of additional mounting or attachment points per mount rail length, thus additional items must be ordered for Wind Region C installations. The Table below specifies the minimum number of mounting points required for 360Rack and applies to inclined roofs and flat roof applications where a tilt frame maybe employed.
