LUCKY DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS
Information on how to participate, Lucky Draw Rules and General Terms and Conditions
form part of these Lucky Draw Terms & Conditions. By registering or taking part in this lucky
draw, all persons participating herein (the “participants”) agree to be bound by these Lucky
Draw Terms and Conditions.
Lucky Draw Rules
1. The Lucky Draw is open to all individual Singapore citizens and residents of the
Republic of Singapore who are (i) aged 18 and above as at the start of the promotional
period (if you are under the age of 18, you should obtain the consent of your parents or legal
guardians before participating or submitting any personal information), (ii) not prohibited in
any manner by any person, entity, authority or law anywhere in the world from participating
in this Lucky Draw or any similar lucky draw, and (ii) not employees and immediate family
members of Singapore Telecommunications Ltd, its agencies and other parties which are
directly involved and/or associated in organizing, promoting and/or conducting with this lucky
draw. By participating in the Lucky Draw, you represent and warrant that you have met the
eligibility criteria set out under these Lucky Draw Rules and General Terms and Conditions
and that you consent to the use by Singapore Telecommunications of your personal
information for feedback, promotional and marketing purposes.
2. The promotional period runs from 12 June 2013 till 16 June 2013, both dates inclusive
(the “Promotional Period”).
3. Participation is by signing up for a new mobile line or recontracting an existing Postpaid
mobile service with a 24-month contract on any SingTel Mobile price plan via
singtelshop.com only. Each signup qualifies the buyer to one chance in The Lucky Draw.
The new mobile line or recontracting of an existing Postpaid mobile service via
singtelshop.com must be made within the Promotional Period. For early phone upgrade,
there is a top-up charge of $200 - $350, depending on the phone model. Not applicable for
Corporate Individual Scheme and Corporate Volume Discount Scheme. A one-time
registration fee and SIM Card charge apply for new sign-ups. This promotion is not
transferable and is strictly limited to one lucky draw chance per mobile plan subscribed to.
Standard SingTel Mobile terms and conditions apply. SingTel Mobile reserves the right to
amend terms and conditions without prior notice.
4. Only entries that are complete and correct as deemed by Singapore Telecommunications
and its authorized employees and officers (“Singapore Telecommunications”) will be
deemed as eligible. Participants shall participate in the Lucky Draw on his or her own
account, and shall not submit forms or participate on behalf of other persons.
5. The draw for the winners will be conducted on 17 June 2013 (“Draw Date”) (or such other
date or time as Singapore Telecommunications may determine at its sole and absolute
discretion) at

The following prizes are available to be won:
3 x Pair of tickets to the Jay Chou Opus concert at Chengdu on 22 June 2013,
inclusive of return air tickets, 2-nights accommodation and airport/venue round

Winners will be notified via SMS and/or phone by within three (3) working days from the
Draw Date based on the submitted contact details. Winners shall ensure that they remain
contactable at all times. If Singapore Telecommunications fails to contact any winner for any
reason whatsoever, it shall at its discretion elect to determine another winner in accordance
with the Lucky Draw mechanism.
6. Prizes won are not transferable, or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Winners are
responsible for collecting in person any prizes won. Winners will be advised of the date(s),
time(s) and venue(s) for the collection of prizes separately.
7. Winners will be required to submit personally the following verification documents to be
eligible to collect any prize: receipt or mobile contract from singtelshop.com. The award of
prizes shall be subject to verification to the full satisfaction of Singapore Telecommunications.
8. Singapore Telecommunications’s decision on all matters relating to this lucky draw will be
final, binding and conclusive on all persons participating in this Lucky Draw, and no
correspondence will be entertained.
9. Where prizes contain a specified validity period during which it should be utilized, no
requests for extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained. Prizes which remain
unclaimed by any participant for 3 days after the announcement of the winners shall be
conclusively forfeited by such participant, and such forfeited prize shall be dealt with at
Singapore Telecommunications’s discretion in accordance with applicable laws.
10. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any
materials used in connection with this Lucky Draw, in particular that relating to the Lucky
Draw prizes, are the property of their respective owners. Singapore Telecommunications
and its affiliates and contractors are not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such
owners and their relevant affiliates. Any dispute about the quality, merchantability, and
fitness and purposes of the goods and services must be resolved directly with the
manufacturer.
General Terms & Conditions
1A. By entering into this Lucky Draw, each participant agrees that Singapore
Telecommunications, its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions
agencies, and their respective officers, directors, and employees (the “Relevant
Organisers”) shall not be liable for injury, loss, claims or damage of any kind arising out of
or in connection with participating in this draw/Lucky Draw, the participants’ acts omissions
or negligence, and/or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize awarded. Each
participant agrees to waive and release the Relevant Organisers from the above-mentioned
claims and liabilities. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property
damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, to the
extent not prohibited by applicable written laws.
1B. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each participant and anyone entitled or agreed
to act on his/her behalf, agrees to indemnify each of the Relevant Organisers from any
losses, damages, costs, expenses, claims or liabilities of any kind arising in connection with
my participation in the Lucky Draw, to the extent not prohibited by applicable laws.
2. By participating in the Lucky Draw, participants hereby opt-in, and agree and authorize,
Singapore Telecommunications, to use at its discretion, without further compensation to the
participants, any of their names, addresses, personal details, photographs, videotapes or
any likeness of them for packaging, promotional, advertising, marketing and/or publicity
purposes (where not prohibited by written law), and to the use of statements or any creative
content made by or attributed to winners of this Lucky Draw, and any rights in connection
therewith.
3. Singapore Telecommunications may at its sole discretion modify these terms and
conditions make prize substitutions or cancel this Lucky Draw without prior notice to any
person. Any prizes won or accepted shall be given out on an “as it is” basis and are not
exchangeable or returnable, and Singapore Telecommunications expressly disclaims any
warranties express or implied in connection with any prizes to the fullest extent permitted by
applicable laws. The prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and the
participant agrees to comply with all terms and conditions applicable to the prizes.
4. Singapore Telecommunications is not responsible or liable for delayed, lost, stolen,
incomplete, late or misdirected entries and submissions caused by any reason whatsoever,
including but not limited to service delays, interruptions, failures or overloads, telephone
lines, and/or postal/internet services.
5. Singapore Telecommunications reserves the right to vary or modify these Terms and
Conditions, or disqualify any participant or winner, in such manner Singapore
Telecommunications deems fit, without giving notice or reason, and without any liability to
the such participant or winner. In particular, no participant shall, or procure another person to,
(i) tamper with the registration process or the operation of the Lucky draw or the relevant
website, (ii) participate in the Lucky draw in any manner which creates or may create an
anomaly in the scoring system or operation of the Lucky draw, and/or (iii) breach these
Terms and Conditions, the Computer Misuse Act or any other applicable law or regulation.
6. Singapore Telecommunications reserves the right to pursue legal action against any
person which it believes has undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful or
prejudicial to this Lucky Draw, the entry submission process or the relevant web site.
7. Singapore Telecommunications shall not be liable for damage to a user's phone or
computer system in any way due to a user's participation in the this Lucky Draw or
downloading of any information in connection with the registration, including without
limitation any server failure; lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction.
8. Subject to any government approval which may be required, Singapore
Telecommunications reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time to terminate or
cancel the Lucky Draw, in whole or in part, or modify the Lucky Draw in any way, without
liability to any person. If any part of the Rules is held to be unenforceable or illegal, such
illegal or unenforceable part shall be severed from the Rules without affecting the validity of
the remaining Rules.
9. This Lucky Draw and the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and
each participant agrees to submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
