How to use the ADP Employee Self-Service Benefits Portal for Open Enrollment The ADP Self-Service Benefits Portal is a web-based tool which allows you to: • Review your current benefit elections • Update dependent information • Make changes to your benefit elections during annual open enrollment (or if you experience a qualifying status change) It also includes links to: • Xylem Benefits Website • Plan / Vendor Websites 2 The Xylem Payroll & Benefits Services Center • Employees may contact the Xylem Payroll & Benefits Service Center for assistance with Open Enrollment • Representatives are available to assist between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday Contact phone number is: 1-855-XYLEM99 3 Accessing the ADP Benefits Website Open the Registration website using this address: https://portal.adp.com New Users Register Here 4 Step 1: Begin Registration You will then enter the registration code: Xyleminc-Register Enter registration code here 5 Step 2: Verify Your Identity Enter your identity information in the designated fields 6 Step 3: Retrieve Your User ID & Choose Your Password Your Username will be your first initial and last name (no punctuation) @xyleminc, e.g., JSmith@xyleminc Choose a Password Make note of your user ID and password for future use 7 Step 4: Select Your Security Questions and Answers 8 Step 5: Enter Your Contact Information 9 Step 6: You will receive an e-mail with an activation code Enter your activation code here 10 Step 7: Review and submit your activation information • You will be notified if your activation was successful and registration completed • You can now log on and access the benefits portal for open enrollment • Enter the self-service portal at https://portal.adp.com 11 Step 8: Enter the self-service portal, (https://portal.adp.com) and click the User Login button Click the “User Login” button to log on 12 Step 9: Portal Security • Once you log in, the Windows Security box will open • Depending on your version of Internet Explorer, you will see one of the two boxes below • Enter your ADP User Name and ADP Password and click “OK” 13 Step 10: Once you have logged on to the portal, you will see the Welcome page Select the “Benefits” drop down tab, then click on “Health & Welfare” Please note that during Open Enrollment, only the “Benefits” tab will be active 14 Step 11: You will see the Annual Enrollment page If you are making any changes to your benefit elections or enrolling during Open Enrollment, click “Enroll Today” To review your current benefits elections, select “Current Election” from the drop down menu 15 Step 12: The Summary page will open where you can view your current elections. Under “Benefit Elections”, click each benefit option for which you are making elections / changes 16 Step 12a: The Summary page also allows you to: Review and update your Dependent Information Review and update your Benefits Elections Select your Beneficiaries Confirm Elections 17 Step 12b: For example, you can change your medical plan: Select your preference to view cost amounts Select your plan preference Confirm covered Dependents Click “Done” 18 Step 13: Certify Your Elections You will need to specify if you do/do not want an email notification when your changes have been processed and click the “Submit” button Click the “I Agree” button which opens the Email Address page 19 Step 14: Confirmation page Or, you can click the “Done” button from the confirmation page to return to the “Enrollment” page and print a PDF confirmation from the “Benefits Overview” section You can click the “Print” button at the bottom of the page to print your confirmation 20 You can call the Xylem Payroll & Benefits Service Center at 855-XYLEM99 between 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. ET for assistance in enrolling or using the benefits portal. 21
