How to login to fnb.mobi (WAP based banking service)
There are 2 ways to login to fnb.mobi – by logging in via the menu based method or by entering
our URL fnb.mobi into your cellphone browser
METHOD 1: By logging in via the menu based method
Step 1:
Dial *120*321*362# and press the call/dial button on your cellphone. You will then receive a Welcome message
which will prompt you to enter your MOPIN (5 digit numeric Cellphone Banking PIN). Please remember to keep your
PIN safe.

Step 2:
Select reply/answer on your cellphone and key in your 5 digit MOPIN PIN. Press SEND to continue.

A message will appear advising you that your request is being processed and that you will receive an SMS
containing a link to fnb.mobi. Note that you can also dial *120*321# and selecting fnb.mobi off the main menu,
which will take you to this screen.

banking using fnb.mobi,
click on the address in
the SMS.
Step 4
The SMS will be received in your SMS Inbox. Select the WAP link from the SMS message. You will need to copy
this link into your Cellphone Browser after which you will be logged on to the fnb.mobi homepage.
Select open link from the phone options menu, message will appear to notify you that you are being connected to
the site.

Step 5
Once you are logged on to our Cellphone Banking WAP home page, you will be presented with a number of options
to choose from. Scroll to the option you would like to select by moving up or down on screen. Depending on the
type of handset you are using, you will be able to Click on the options and select the link you wish to enter.

How to transact on fnb.mobi
Below is an example of how you could purchase airtime for yourself, without the complexity of keying in
long voucher numbers after you have completed your purchase!
Step 1
After selecting PREPAID from the main menu, the screen below will appear with the options to buy prepaid
airtime, Telkom, electricity and lots more. Scroll up or down to make your selection and for this example you
will select option 1 Buy Airtime.

Step 2:
You must then select from which account you would like to purchase the airtime (example if you buy R29 airtime,
this amount will be deducted off the bank account you choose). By using the radio buttons, select either “Me” or
“Enter cell number” by scrolling up or down on screen.

Step 3:
The following screen will display the various voucher denominations available for the network provider that you are
subscribed to. In this illustration we are using a Vodacom subscriber as an example. Select which voucher amount
you prefer by scrolling up or down on screen.

Step 4:
You will then receive a confirmation screen prompting you to confirm the details of your purchase,
Select 1 to confirm your purchase.

Step 5:
You will receive the final screen confirming your purchase and that your transaction has been successful.
You can select buy more airtime from this screen and follow the prompts as seen above to purchase more
airtime.
