2. GRADE STRUCTURE:
The final grade will compose of the following parts:
 Team projects: 0 - 50 % (30% written part, 20% oral presentation)
 Active class participation and attendance: 0 - 20%
 Individual assignment/case study: 0-10%
 Final written exam (open book, essay type): 0 - 20%*
*Students need to get at least 50% (i.e. 10% out of possible 20%) to successfully pass the
course, regardless of the total number of points!
Grading scale:
 0 – 54%: grade 5 (FAIL)
 55 – 65%: grade 6 (NEAR PASS)
 66 – 75%: grade 7 (PASS)
 76 – 84%: grade 8 (GOOD)
 85 – 93%: grade 9 (VERY GOOD)
 94 – 100%: grade 10 (EXCELLENT)
3. COURSE MATERIALS:
There is no official textbook for the course; however, each student will get one copy of
booklet My Experience from Doing Business with China by Ljubomir Ulaga, published by the
Confucius Institute Ljubljana, 2011. Students will also be provided with all the basic materials
by the individual lecturers, which will be made available on the course website prior to each
lecture. Please check the website prior to each lecture.
