CHECKLIST HOW TO CONTACT US… CHECK-IN IN PERSON Check in with Plans. Obtain equipment and contract inspections. Check in with Finance. Check in with Facilities for camping locations. Check in with Communications for radio frequencies. Locate showers, food, and Medical Unit. Determine the name of your direct supervisor. The Incident Commanders and Human Resources Specialist will be located at the Incident Command post during the assignment. They, as well as, any member of the Command and General Staff are available to discuss any issue concerning your assignment. DURING YOUR ASSIGNMENT Turn in your Crew Time Report or Equipment Shift Ticket daily. Check the information boards around camp for messages. If you are a trainee (or have a trainee assigned to you), check in with the Training Specialist. Determine your shift start time and obtain a daily briefing. Complete Unit Logs daily to ensure quality documentation. Team Incident within an Incident and Camp Safety plans are available for review. DEMOBILIZATION Be sure to pick up demob form from the Planning Section. Complete and submit your evaluation to Documentation. Return all supplies and equipment to the Supply Unit. Submit final Crew Time Report or Equipment Shift Ticket and complete the finance demob process. PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR ġMaintain a professional attitude for the duration of your assignment. ġRepresent your agency and home unit with professional conduct. ġAdherence to camp dress code: x x x x x Pants and shorts shall be free of tatters, rips and holes, shall cover underwear and should not sag, interfere with job duties or present a safety hazard. Shorts may be worn at the discretion of the Unit Leader based on the job duties of the wearer. Shorts shall be no shorter than mid-thigh on the wearer. Cut-off pants are not allowed Shirts must completely cover the torso and be void of inappropriate artwork or text. No sleeveless, low-cut or see-through shirts are allowed. Excessively baggy or tight clothing, and clothing which advertises alcohol, drugs or gang symbols or affiliation is prohibited. The camp dress code applies during both on-duty and off-duty hours when the wearer is in camp PERSONAL BEHAVIOR ġInappropriate behavior includes all forms of harassment including but not limited to sexual harassment and harassment based on race or ethnicity. Harassment in any form will not be tolerated. Alcohol and non-prescribed or unlawful drugs or substances (including marijuana) are not permitted at the incident. Possession or use of these substances will result in the resource being released from the incident. During off-incident periods, personnel are responsible for proper conduct and maintenance of fitness for duty. Drug or alcohol use resulting in unfitness for duty will result in the resource being released from the incident. ġVisitors to the incident command post are welcome, but must be accompanied by a team member. ġSmoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. ġAdherence to camp sleeping area quiet hours – 2200 to 0500.
