But i do understand it is important to change IP for a variety of reasons. One of the most important one is to be able to be secure and enjoy some privacy on the internet or at least try. There have become available some cool software such as Private Proxy software to rapidly change IP and route the connection through multiple servers. Thus effectively hiding your IP address and allowing one to surf the net anonymously. In order to combat security and privacy challenges on the internet Changing the IP has become an effective weapon against hackers and identity thieves. Reply wrt54gl January 22, 2010 at 11:18 pm Thank you so much for this as I just changed the sub-net for my lan and couldn’t send mail. This was exactly what I needed. Reply adrian March 30, 2010 at 2:22 am hey, thank you for provided information. I have moved one of my Zimbra’s (5.X) to another host and took the steps you described. I had to edit main.cf in /opt/zimbra/postfix /conf/ There was still mentioned line (mynetworks) with old values however I set it previously by zmprov and restarted it afterwards maybe that helps Reply G November 4, 2010 at 9:49 am Thanks for the tip buddy!
