We will also be coordinating a limited number of USA Volleyball High Performance site camps held in selected regions throughout the country. This program is a USA Volleyball High Performance master coach format designed to develop a school’s entire coaching staff and athletes. Technical Advancement This model is the foundation of our year round age group programs. We travel to your school to lead training sessions that follow the philosophy of a structured culture that helps in the development of the individual, group and team. In depth skill sequencing evolves into a visibly systematic approach to technical improvement. 20+ hours of training is offered for athletes in grades 9-12. An optional 10+ hours is offered for athletes in grades 7-8 as well as a specialized attacking school for area athletes. Discovery This model is specifically designed for the middle school athlete with our coaching cadre reporting to your school in the evening hours to work with your athletes. The core fundamentals of attack, volley, pass and movement reception evolve into games of 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 utilizing a smaller court. Buck Setting School Grade 7-9 Serving Attacking Attack reception is understanding situational mechanics, individual sequencing, receiving various attack possibilities and the “art” of connecting with other players on the court. Teaching the importance of proper serving mechanics, jump float serve and looking at the jump and spin serve. Correct repetition is key to perfecting your skills. A core skill every player needs to be highly proficient at. Technical mechanics, post touch recovery and the three ways to receive serve are some of the key components covered. Hand position, precision volleyball hesitation, and situational footwork are key skills. We also hope to get you airborne - flying setters are better than grounded ones. Previous team experience required. Teaching the importance of proper serving mechanics, jump float serve and looking at the jump and spin serve. Correct repetition is key to perfecting your skills. Work on having great footwork, approach arm and swing mechanics, efficient contact, when to attack safe, when to terminate the volleyball.
