Accelerating Business Performance The Event How to create a Lean Culture Dates 19-20 February 2013 Venue TBC, Birmingham UK Who should attend For Business Leaders responsible for cultural change Event Outline •Lean Dispositions – a new framework •The Language of Leadership – new research findings •Participation in ongoing CI sustainability research using the VoicePrint diagnostic •Case Study illustrations - How to create a Lean Culture This internationally successful workshop returns to the UK, facilitated by Lean Culture expert Kevin Eyre zx How to develop a culture that makes CI and ‘Lean conversations’ an everyday part of your culture zx To understand from our own research in this critical arena, the specific thoughts, feelings and behaviours that leaders need to demonstrate in order to create such a culture zx To understand how your current leadership style may help or hinder the acceleration of business improvement zx To help you to begin to develop the leadership capabilities you will need Introduction Over the last 20 years of our leading research, consultancy and training within the lean community we have found that the emphasis has moved away from questions like ‘Where do I start’ and ‘How do I get trained in the tools’. In fact for companies some years into the journey the questions are now ‘Why am I not achieving as much as I hoped’ and ‘How do I stop things stalling’. The reason for this is that many have adopted the more visible parts of Lean such as the training and application of diagnostic and implementation Tools & Techniques. However, this has often been done in isolation of other key areas. In particular the People element of Lean has often been missed or at least underplayed. This advanced workshop is for middle or senior managers who are seeing just these issues in their organisation. It helps you to understand how to correct this and start developing a Lean Culture. We do this by helping understand what a complete Lean Business System involves and then change to the importance of areas such as Strategy Deployment, Leadership, Engagement and Behaviour. We then drill down in greater detail into the key aspects required to create a Lean Culture at each level of your organisation. Workshop Objectives - Delegates will understand that ‘talk is action’ and that shaping our conversations creates changes in culture - Delegates will be able to define their current and future cultures and outline a path from the one to the other - Delegates will learn from case studies which explain successful cultural change - Delegates will experience how small changes in their behaviour can have disproportionately positive effects Your Host Kevin Eyre Managing Consultant, S A Partners For further information or to book your place contact [email protected] Accelerating Business Performance The Event How to&create a Lean Lean Green Culture Date Dates 19-20 February 2013 7 February 2012 Venue Venue TBC, Birmingham UK Dublin Ireland - How to create a Lean Culture Workshop Content Day 1 - Re-capping and Re-framing CI - Introducing ‘The X-Men’ – small changes in behaviour can have - - Lean Dispositions – the combination of process and behaviour big effects VoicePrint* and The Language of Leadership – what about you!
