Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time Northeast Catholic Family Conference – June 27 The theme of the conference is “Called to Greatness”. The Northeast Catholic Family Conference will rekindle the Truth in hearts of all ages – that we are “Called to Greatness”. It takes place on June 27 from 1 pm – 8 pm at St. Mary’s Church in Waltham. The day will feature an event with Cardinal Sean, Mass and Adoration, a Marian Procession, workshops for adults, separate teen and children’s programs, a family cookout, and inspiring speakers including Leah Darrow, a former contestant on the Reality Television Show, “America’s Next Top Model.” You don’t want to miss this great event for the Family. Flag Day Traffic Alert All attending the 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Masses on June 20th (next Sunday) are advised to use streets off Kent Street and Aspinwall Avenue to access St. Mary’s Church. Harvard Street will be closing down at 10:00 a.m. After Mass, please exit via Harvard Street but you will only be allowed to travel south towards Brookline Village. Congdon’s CD will be available for $20.00 St. Mary’s Men’s Group The June meeting of St. Mary’s Men’s Group will be held on Thursday, June 24 in the lower church at 7:00 p.m. This will be a non-speaker meeting when we read, reflect on and discuss the readings of the following Sunday, in this case, June 27. We will also review and discuss the schedule of speakers for next fall, winter and spring meetings and explore interest in showing videos at some of these meetings. We will also have non speaker meetings in July and August. Input on all of these items from members is most important and all are urged to make every effort to attend – and bring your reflections on the readings and suggestions for speakers and topics. Also, a most warm invitation is extended to all men of the parish to come and see if St. Mary’s Men’s Group is for you.
