We wish to thank again the Gibbsboro School for their donations. And Girl Scout Troop #30078 for their food drive in support of our baskets. A big thank you to the MOPS group for their Easter Bags of Candy. And to all who helped with the collection, assembly and distributions of our Easter Baskets. Your efforts achieved a remarkable level of charity. Thank you all. Poor Boxes Please consider a donation, small or large, as a welcome gift to the many in our Church community in need of assistance. Our Church is most times the last resort for those in need because of their hesitancy in asking for help. We must always allow them to retain the dignity they deserve. Saturday, May 2nd 10:00 AM We will begin with the Liturgy in the church. Refreshments will follow in the Hall. Stewardship Nursing Home Companions St. Andrew’s ministers to eight area nursing homes. Many of the residents enjoy the visits of the volunteers that go for a visit, usually on a weekly basis. If you have some time in your day to afford a half hour or an hour to one of the residents, give Chris Parry a call at 856-6270597 or [email protected]. She will give you the name of a resident that would enjoy your company. The residents we visit are well read, love to trade stories, very spiritual and love our volunteers. Stewards Give Back “The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possession was his own, but they had everything in common. (Acts 4:32) Stewardship calls us to recognize, just as the early Christians did, that none of our possessions is our own. All that we have—our health, our education, our skills, our talents, and our livelihood—are gifts from God. How do we give back of our time, talent and treasure to God?
