The blend of restaurant, museum, pub, synagogue and church invites one to enjoy and become part of this place. The city center offers plenty of cultural and entertainment places: art galleries, unique jewelry shops, home-style cafés, gourmet restaurants that attract tourists from all over the world and small designer shops carrying special items that cannot be found anywhere else. Jerusalem requires more than a single day tour. In order to absorb this magic it is recommended that you plan a longer vacation where all the winning ingredients are included: culture - from museums to street concerts; food - from chef restaurants to falafel stands, and random strolls. Nachlat Shiva: In the alleys of Nachlat Shiva, one of the first neighborhoods built outside the Old City walls in the 1860's, you walk as if in a labyrinth - entering one alley and exiting from of another.
