WPCC READERS POLL TOP 30 SONGS
Number in () is the national rank
This was a first. The first music poll taken at WPCC. The
response was not what we expected, but was quite sufficient.
The final tally revealed an expected for Fleetwood Mac. Mac,
had 3 songs in the top 30 and placed in 4 others. Dolly Parton
was easily the catagories favorite in all C & W picks, however, no
C & W songs made the top 30. Not even the best femal vocalist
had a song in the final tally. Streisand proved she is really the top,
by putting 2 songs in the top 30, making a good showing in the
female vocalist category and finally, being named as first member
of the WPCC "Hall of Fame" for popular rock music.
