Special Note: On-Campus Parking
Parking on campus between 6 am and 6 pm
Monday through Friday (except holidays) requires
a hang tag, which may be purchased for $2.50
per day at the parking services booth in the
paid parking lot across from the Student Union
Building, or from the University Police station
at the corner of Kagy Blvd. and 7th Ave. Free
parking, along South 11th Street across from the
fieldhouse, is very limited. Violation of university
parking regulations may result in parking fines.

Sample Camp Schedule
Camp Staff
Dale Kennedy, Director of Track and Field
and Cross Country at MSU, is in his 28th
season with the Bobcats. He will coach the
sprints and hurdles events at this year’s
camp.
Tom Eitel is in his 15th season as MSU’s
jumps and multi-events coach, and his 21st
as a college coach. He will focus on the
high jump, long and triple jumps.
Mike Carignan is in his 27th year as throwing events coach at MSU. He will conduct
sessions on the shot and discus.
Jorah Griffith is in her 7th
year of coaching at MSU.
She has coached the javelin
throwers for the past three
seasons, and is now also assisting in the sprints.
Erin Jones Graf begins her third year
coaching at MSU after a stellar career as a
Bobcat. A 2006 All-American, she is also a
two-time Big Sky Conference champion in
the pentathlon. She will help with hurdles
and jumps at the camp.
Hilary Huntsinger begins her second year as
volunteer coach in the jumps. Hilary was an
assistant track and field coach at Wheeling
Jesuit University before moving to Bozeman
last summer.
Anne Phillips Timmons starts her MSU volunteer career as an assistant in the running
events. She was the head women’s coach
for Pomona and Pitzer College in Calif., an
assistant at Montana, and most recently, race
director for the Mountain West Track Club.
In addition, various Bobcat athletes
will be assisting with the camp.

Registration
Return the application form with either the full
camp fees or $50 non-refundable deposit by June
9th. A $15 late fee will be assessed for applications
received later than June 16th.
Check-in
Registered campers and late registrants must check
in at the MSU outdoor track. Check-in is 8:00 am10:00 am on Friday, June 26th. Check-in at the
dorms for resident campers is after camp check-in,
from 9:00-10:00 am. A detailed event schedule will
be available at the check-in table.
What to Bring
Campers are encouraged to bring their own
throwing implements. Some implements will be
provided. Bring appropriate broken-in shoes and
track spikes. 1/8” or 1/4” pyramid (cone) spikes
will be allowed. Campers are also encouraged to
bring a water bottle, sunscreen, sweats, and a light
jacket. Bed linens, blankets, and a pillow will be
provided for resident campers; you might also
bring an extra pillow, towel, and a fan.
Camp Supervision
Resident campers will stay on campus for the
entire camp. The Day Camper fees include lunch
in the dining hall. Members of the coaching staff
will reside in the dorm with the campers. Evening
social events will be coordinated and chaperoned.

Medical Waiver — must be signed
I understand by the nature of the activity there is the possibility
of an accident, and I assume the risk and responsibility while
attending Montana State University summer camp. I, as
parent/guardian of a minor student, permit emergency care
to be administered to him/her as deemed necessary by the
MSU Coach, Staff or Athletic Trainer. I will allow the involved
hospital and/or doctor to administer the required treatment for
the emergency condition. I also understand that all incurred
costs are my personal responsibility and that Montana State
University does not have insurance coverage for injuries to
sport camp participants.
