Neurodynamics is the assessment of the relationships between nerve mechanics and physiology, and how those
relationships can contribute to musculoskeletal dysfunction. Complications of the nervous system are frequently
involved in most conditions treated in the clinic but often ignored by clinicians, resulting in delayed or ineffective
care. This workshop goes beyond the basic neurodynamic tests learned in entry-level professional programs
and provides advanced neuromusculoskeletal evaluation, nerve mobilization and joint manipulation to improve
functional outcomes in chronic conditions.
This is a comprehensive workshop on orthopaedic manual therapy that utilizes an anatomical and biomechanical
approach to treatment. You will learn to integrate the latest scientific literature and develop proficiency in the
evaluation and treatment of the nervous system. This lab-based workshop will guide you through joint, muscle,
and neural structure differentiation. Evidence-based clinical decision making will be utilized throughout the day to
ensure you are able to implement effective treatment strategies upon return to the clinic.
