Dykon Amalie Kortzau Bahsson UNION SCENE DRAMMEN N O R W A Y Thank you to Letterstedtska Föreningen and Nordisk Tidskrift I N T R O D U C T I O N What does changing the world mean to you? Is it to help a friend in need or allowing yourself to rely on the kindness of strangers? Is it to put an end to wars and world hunger or to raise your voice when you tire of things around you? And where do you get the power to right a wrong and to create something out of nothing? Tonight 60 young Scandinavians bring the noise to Union Scene. What their eyes have seen and their hearts have felt, their hands have written down and their feet have followed that beat. Norway, Denmark and Sweden have worked separately for two months. Six days ago they gathered under a joint Scandinavian flag. Since then they have battled and cuddled songs and conquered and caressed choreography and, no doubt, they are all the stronger and more confident for it. Now they are ready and eager to show and prove. So while you ponder what changing the world means to you, this is what it means to the young people taking to the stage. Dim the lights, we are about to go live. Oh, and happy 200, Drammen.
