PRE-INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR
GEOTHERMAL HEATING SYSTEM
An accurate installation guarantees that Lämpöässä geothermal heating system operates trouble-free for decades.
In this pre-instruction manual technical details, space requirements and pipe connections are listed for all Lämpöässä
models. In addition, installation information for heat collector circuits can be found in this manual. If more information is
required, please contact your local Lämpöässä dealer.

Lämpöässä can be freely located to a technical
space or inside the house to appropriate place.
The area reserved for device does not need to be
much larger than the outside dimensions of the
heat pump. On top of the device there must be
20 cm free space. This is good to be considered
when heat pump is going to be placed to low
roofed spaces e.g basement. Lämpöässä heat
pump is recommended to be placed to a warm
space where there is also a floor drain. This is
because water/ethanol or water/glycol may
splash to floor when brine circuit is filled.

The floor must tolerate the weight of the heat pump and full water tank. The space does not need to be fire isolated.
COLLECTOR CIRCUIT
Normal PEM DN40/PN10 polythene pipe is used
as brine circuit pipes. If pipes are under courtyard
