The area reserved for device does not need to be much larger than the outside dimensions of the heat pump. On top of the device there must be 20 cm free space. This is good to be considered when heat pump is going to be placed to low roofed spaces e.g basement. Lämpöässä heat pump is recommended to be placed to a warm space where there is also a floor drain. This is because water/ethanol or water/glycol may splash to floor when brine circuit is filled.
