Overview
TheISIS™inDASHMAXDashLightingControllerisanexpansionmoduletotheISIS
IntelligentMultiplexSystemthatgivesvehiclefabricatorsaneasywaytocontrolthe
indicatorsandilluminationontheirdashboards.Thisgivesyouasimplewayto
wiretheturn‐signalindicators,high‐beamindicatorsandgaugeillumination,all
fromasimplemodulepluggedintotheISISIntelligentMultiplexSystem.
CommandsaresentfromtheISISMASTERCELLtoinDASHMAXtoactivatethe
LED’sorsmallincandescentbulbsinyourgaugecluster.Thisgetsyouavery
flexiblesystemthatiseasytoexpandanduseslesswirethanothersolutionsonthe
market.CommandsareautomaticallysentfromtheMASTERCELLwhentheturn
signals,high‐beamsorparkinglightswitchesareactivated.Theindicatorsare
managedfromwithininDASHMAX.

ConnectPower&GroundHarnesstoinDASHMAXModule
1) Removethepositiveterminalfromyourbatteryorbatteriesbeforeinstalling
anyelectricalcomponents.
2) ConnecttheRed22‐AWGwireintheharnesswiththerectangular4‐position
connectortoaconstantbatteryfeed.SplicetheincludedMini™fuseholderin
serieswiththiswire,keepingthefuseholderasclosetothebatteryas
possible.AgoodplacetopickupthisfeedistheMega™fuseholderincluded
withyourISISkit.
3) ConnecttheBlack22‐AWGwireintheharnesswiththerectangular4‐
positionconnectortochassisground.Makesurethatyouhaveagoodmetal‐
to‐metalconnectiontoground.
ConnecttheinDASHMAXmoduletotheISISCANnetwork.
1) PickaconvenientplaceintheISISCANcabletospliceintoforinDASHMAX.
2) Removetheconvoluteloomingfromtheareawhereyouwillmakethesplice.
3) Cutandstripthe6wiresintheinDASHMAXCANjumperharnesstotheright
lengthtospliceintoyourexistingISISCANharness.
4) Locatethepairofblue*22‐AWGwiresintheCANharness.Pickoneofthe
bluewiresandcutit.Bothofthebluewiresareelectricallythesamesoyou
maychooseeitherbluewire.
5) Stripbacktheinsulationonbothsidesofthecutblue22‐AWGwire.
6) Sliponepieceofheat‐shrinktubingoneachendofthecutblue22‐AWGwire
intheexistingCANharness.
7) Crimponeendoftheincludedbutt‐spliceterminalstoeachofthecutendsin
theexistingCANharness.
8) Crimptheotherendsofthebutt‐spliceterminalstothebluewiresinthe
inDASHMAXCANjumperharness.Thesewiresareelectricallythesamesoit

ConnecttheinDASHMAXmoduletoindicatorlights.
1) inDASHisdesignedtogroundswitchasmalllightorthecathodesideofa
lightemittingdiode.Thedifferentcoloredwiresontheoutputharnessare
assignedtospecificindicatorsforyourdash.SeeTable1forthewirecolors.
a. LeftTurnSignal‐indicatorwillflashwhentheleftturnsignalsare
flashing.
b. RightTurnSignal‐indicatorwillflashwhentherightturnsignalsare
flashing.
c. Boththeleft&rightturnsignalindicatorswillflashtogetherwhenthe
4‐waysareon.
d. High‐Beamindicatorwillturnonwhenthehigh‐beamoutputis
active.
e. GaugeIlluminationoutputwillbeactivewhentheparkinglightsare
turnedon.
f. SecurityIndicatorwillflashwhenISISsecurityissetfrominLINKor
inTOUCHMobile.
g. ISISStatuswillturnonsolidwhentheISISnetworkstatusisokay.It
willflashtoindicateanyproblemsontheISISbus.Checkyour
inSIGHTmodulesformessagesifthislightflashes.NOTE:thisoutput
isoptional.
2) SetthenumberontherotarydialontherearofinDASHMAXtotheaddress
specifiedonyourISISConfigurationSheet.Thedefaultaddressis“5”.
3) ConnecttheRed22‐AWGwireintheinDASHMAXoutputharnesstooneside
ofyourlights.IfyouareusingLED’s,thiswireshouldconnecttotheanode
side.
4) ConnecttheotherwiresintheinDASHMAXoutputharnesstoyour
indicatorsusingFigure1.

WarrantyInformation
WarrantyforISIS™IntelligentMultiplexSystem™
Infinitybox, LLC (“Infinitybox”) warrants against any defects in materials and
workmanship to the Product’s ISIS™ modules, wiring harnesses and accessory
modulesforaperiodofone(1)yearfromthefirstdateofpurchase.Subjecttothe
termsofthiswarrantydescribedbelow,Infinityboxwillreplaceanysuchdefective
Product that is returned to Infinitybox within the one (1) year period from initial
purchase. Replacement of any defective part or Product will not extend the
applicablewarrantyperiod.
Thewarrantydoesnotapplyto:(i)anyProductthatisnotinstalledincompliance
with the applicable Product documentation; (ii) any defect in, or failure of, the
Productresultingfromanaccident,shock,negligence,waterimmersionormisuse;
(iii)anyProductthathasbeenmodified,adjusted,repaired,ordisassembledbyany
party other than Infinitybox; or (iv) any defect other than in materials and
workmanship.
This warranty covers only the original purchaser of Product purchased from an
Infinitybox authorized dealer in the United States. In order to receive warranty
service, purchaser must provide Infinitybox with a copy of the receipt stating the
dealer name, product purchased and date of purchase. Products found to be
defectiveduringthewarrantyperiodwillbereplaced(withaproductdeemedtobe
equivalentorbetter)atthediscretionofInfinitybox.
Infinitybox’s sole liability for any defective Product is limited solely to the
replacementofProductpursuanttothiswarranty.Infinityboxreservestherightto
replaceanyrepairablepartswithneworrefurbishedparts.
INFINITYBOXDISCLAIMSALLOTHERWARRANTIES,WHETHEREXPRESS,IMPLIED
OR STATUTORY, SUCH AS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNE SS
FORPURPOSE.INNOEVENTSHALLINFINITYBOXBELIABLEFORANYPUNITIVE,
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT
LIMITATION, LIABILITY FOR LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF PRODUCT
ORBUSINESSINTERRUPTIONHOWEVERTHESAMEMAYBECAUSED,INCLUDING
NEGLIGENCE.
