udbygger Panum med Mærsk Bygningen.
Byggeriet varer fra 2012 til 2015
– en periode, hvor et af Danmarks største
byggerier vil ligge midt på Nørrebro. Opførelsen af Mærsk Bygningen er tilrettelagt,
så der tages mest muligt hensyn til
omgivelserne samtidig med, at byggeprocessen ikke må vare længere tid end nødvendigt.

Ved Nørre Allé er opført en pavillon i tre etager. Pavillonen skal det
meste af byggeperioden rumme undervisning, kontorer og
kantine. På Blegdamsvej er der opført en ny, midlertidig indgang
ud for busstoppested 3A. Ved siden af indgangen står en række
skure og containere til mandskab og materiale til forskellige renoverings- og byggeprojekter på det oprindelige Panum. De midlertidige pavilloner og skure bliver fjernet igen, når Mærsk Bygningen
står færdig i 2015.

STØJ OG VIBRATIONER
Det kan ikke undgås, at et stort byggeri giver støj, som generer
omgivelserne. Vibrationer fra aktiviteter på byggepladsen har givet
en del gener. Trafikken til og fra byggepladsen kan måske også
mærkes i undergrunden. Vibrationerne er ikke så kraftige, at de
vurderes at kunne skade de omkringliggende bygninger. Men de
nærmeste bygninger er alligevel blevet fotoregistreret for at kunne
vurdere eventuelle skader.
Byggeriet er planlagt, så støj og vibrationer begrænses mest muligt. Arbejdet følger Københavns Kommunes regler for, hvornår og
hvor meget der må støjes, og hvor kraftige vibrationerne må være.
Normalt foregår arbejdet på hverdage i dagtimerne. Men der kan
være opgaver, hvor det også er nødvendigt at arbejde uden for
den normale arbejdstid.

EN SIKKER BYGGEPLADS
Opførelsen af Mærsk Bygningen skal foregå så sikkert som muligt.
Det gælder både inde på byggepladsen og for trafikken omkring
byggepladsen. Arbejdsmiljøet på byggepladsen er planlagt, så der
er mindst mulig risiko for ulykker. Alle der færdes på byggepladsen
til daglig er trænet i sikker adfærd, så arbejdsulykker kan undgås.
Gæster og leverandører får instruktioner i sikker adfærd, inden
de kommer ind på byggepladsen. For at undgå farlige højresving
kommer al trafik ind på byggepladsen ad Nørre Allé, og al trafik
væk fra byggepladsen kører ad Blegdamsvej. Der kommer ikke
byggetrafik omkring Sankt Hans Torv.

MAERSK BUILDING
CONSTRUCTION SITE
The Faculty of Health and Medical
Sciences, University of Copenhagen extends
the Panum complex with the Maersk Building.
The construction work will take place from 2012
to 2015 – during which time one of Denmark’s
largest building sites will be situated in the middle
of the Nørrebro district in Copenhagen.The construction of the Maersk Building has been arranged so that it causes as little disturbance
as possible to the surroundings. It is also
being ensured that the construction
process will take no longer than
is absolutely necessary.

2012 -Breaking the ground

-Excavation and sheet piling for foundations.
2013
-Construction of the exterior of Maersk Building

-Work on the interior of the building

-Establishment of green areas, open spaces, footpaths
and bicycle paths.

-Maersk building is ready for modern research and
teaching
NOISE AND VIBRATION
Large-scale construction work inevitably causes noise, which is
a nuisance to the surroundings.Vibrations from the activities on
the construction site may be an issue. The traffic to and from the
construction site may also be felt in the underground. It is deemed
that the vibration levels will not be harmful to the buildings in the
area. However, the buildings closest to the site have been photo-recorded in order to be able to assess possible damage.
The construction work has been planned so as to keep noise and
vibration levels to a minimum. The work is performed according
to the City of Copenhagen’s rules, which stipulate at which times
noise is allowed as well as the permitted noise and vibration levels.
The work is normally performed during daytime hours on weekdays. However, there may be tasks which require work to be performed outside normal working hours.
SAFE CONSTRUCTION SITE
The construction site of the Maersk Building must take place in as
safe a manner as possible. This applies both on-site and with
regard to the traffic around the construction site.
The on-site working environment has been planned to minimize
the risk of accidents and injuries.
All persons working at the construction site on a daily basis have
been trained in safe conduct to avoid accidents and injuries.
Visitors and suppliers are instructed in safe conduct before be-
ing admitted to the site.To avoid dangerous right-hand turns, all
traffic will enter the construction site via Nørre Allé, and all traffic
exiting the site will use Blegdamsvej. There will be no construction
site traffic around Sankt Hans Torv.Lorry traffic will primarily take
place on weekdays during daytime hours.The vehicle’s tyres will be
washed before leaving the construction site, to remove most of the
dirt. However, it will not be possible to entirely prevent the tracking
of dirt and mud on to Blegdamsvej.
TEMPORARY BUILDINGS
OUTSIDE THE CONSTRUCTION SITE
Panum has constructed a three-floor pavilion on Nørre Allé. The
pavilion houses teaching, office and canteen facilities during most
of the construction period. A new, temporary entrance has been
constructed by bus stop 3A on Blegdamsvej. A number of huts
and containers have been set up next to the entrance for crew and
materials for various refurbishment and building projects in the
original Panum complex. The temporary buildings will be removed
again once Maersk Building is completed in 2015.
