If you are travelling on a number of different buses or by different types of transport (such as bus and tram or train)
then you may find the £4.50 Kangaroo day ticket is the best option.
If you do use the tram please be sure to either purchase your ticket before you board the tram or tap your travel card
on the ticket machine on the tram platforms, as tickets are no longer able to be purchased on board and fines will be
given if you are found without a valid pass.

The nearest buses run along Maid Marian Way and include NCT C1, Navy, Green, Orange and Turquoise Lines
and Trent Barton Indigo, Route 18, 20, 21 or i4. The Local link 5 to and from Wollaton Park also passes this way
as does the free of charge Trent Barton centrelink bus that travels between INTU Victoria and INTU Broadmarsh

The Castle is a short walk from Old Market Square in the centre of Nottingham. All buses and trams run into the
centre with the closest tram stop being Old Market Square. A short walk up Friar Lane leads directly to the Castle.

Market Square from which the Castle is a 10 minute walk up Friar Lane.

The two bus based P&R sites (Queens Drive CL1 and Colwick Racecourse CL2) do not
accommodate vehicles overnight. If you have a designated driver these sites are available until
9:20pm on weekdays and 8pm on Saturday for CL1 and until 7:12pm for CL2. Both buses stop and
pick up on Maid Marian Way.
If you’re travelling from further afield you may find that the East Midlands Parkway rail station is the

Rail services to Nottingham are frequent and convenient for the Castle. Train timetable and ticketing
information can be found at www.nationalrail.co.uk. The station is a 10 minute walk from the Castle
or you could catch a tram to Old Market Square or the free Trent Barton centrelink bus from
Broadmarsh Bus Station until 7pm, getting off on Maid Marian Way and walking for a couple of
minutes left up Friar Lane. You can get walking directions from www.walkit.com. If you prefer to
catch a taxi they are available on Station Street.

It is not recommended that you drive to this event as we are not able to provide car parking. There is
no disabled parking onsite during the beer festival but there is opportunity to park just outside of the
site on double yellow lines under the usual rules governing disabled parking.
