Name of the work and due date of opening should be subscribed on the sealed cover of the quotation. 2. Stipulated period of work :- 30 days from the date of layout 3. Intending Quotationers must apply in writing together with documentary evidence in support of their experience and competency to execute such type of work. Valid c e r t i f i c a t e s o f upto date clearance of Income Tax return, Professional Tax Clearance, Pan Card, VAT Registration Certificate, valid Trade licence etc. must be produced for obtaining permission from the undersigned. 4. The prospective bidders shall have satisfactorily completed as a prime agency during the last 3(three) years prior to the date of issue of this Notice at least one work of similar nature under authority of State/ Central Govt., State / Central Govt. undertaking/ Statutory Bodies Constituted under the Statute of the Central / State Govt. and having a magnitude of 40(forty) percent of the amount put to quotation in a single job. The completion certificate must be submitted with the bid. The Completion certificate should contain a) Name of work, (b) Name & address of Client, (c) Amount put to tender, (d) Date of commencement of work (e) Date of completion of work. 5. Specification of materials and other allied papers and drawing may be seen and copies thereof may be available from the office of aforesaid Executive Engineer on any working days between 11-30 a.m. to 4-00 p.m. day before the date fixed for opening of the quotations. The successful quotationer shall have to purchase the all documents at own cost at the time of final agreement. 6. No import license will be granted for importing any materials. 7. The rates should be quoted in words as well as in figure on “Per Unit” basis inclusive of all applicable taxes and duties. The total rate quoted for the work as a whole is the criteria for selection. 8. Sales Tax, delivery charges or any other charges will not be paid extra if not stated specifically. 9. Any conditional offer in the Quotation and Quotation offered with price variation clause would not be accepted. 10. Contractors, who participate in the Quotation, will have to deposit an Earnest Money @2% on their quoted value in the shape of Bank Draft issued from any Nationalized Bank in favour of the Executive Engineer, Central Kolkata Health Electrical Division, P.W.Dte. The Bank Draft should be attached with the Quotation documents, failing which the tender/Quotation will be treated as informal. Successful Quotationer will have to execute agreement in appropriate Govt. form for final acceptance of his offer and issuance of work order. 11. Acceptance of the lowest or any other quotation is not obligatory. 12. The accepting authority reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reason thereto. 13. Last date of Permission is upto 2 P.M on 20/10/2014. The Quotation will be received up to 2 P.M. on 21/10/2014 & all quotations received will be opened shortly thereafter in the presence of Quotationers willing to be present at that time. 14. Cess for labour welfares will be deducted as applicable. 15. The existing clause-17 of condition of contract of the printed agreement form 2911/2911(i) /2911 (ii) has been substituted by the clause as notified vide the notification no 177-CRC/2M-57/208 dated 12/07/2012 of the Secretary, PWD, Govt. of West Bengal and also to be followed accordingly.
