Copenhagen Guitar Duo består af Allan Sjølin og Martin Buono.
De spiller et mix af klassisk og verdensmusik og de forener det bedste af begge verdener. De er begge højt uddannede
klassiske musikere ved Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium og har spillet sammen i over et årti med masser
af erfaring, scenetække og originale fortolkninger af verdensmusik. Deres musik består af originale kompositioner, klassisk, tango, brasiliansk, balkan, dansk samtidsmusik, flamenco, rumba og listen fortsætter.
De er hyldet for deres virtuositet og musikalitet, for eksempel af den spanske mester Diego Cayuelas: “..den bedste
fortolkning jeg har hørt..” og de har samarbejdet med bl.a. DiamantEnsemblet ved en radiotransmitteret koncert i Den
Sorte Diamant og de har givet koncerter overalt i Danmark og turneret i Mexico og Norge. De er prisvindere ved
Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatoriums årlige kammermusikkonkurrence i 2010 og 2012. Når Copenhagen
Guitar Duo er på scenen kan alt ske!
Copenhagen Guitar Duo consists of Allan Sjølin and Martin Buono.
They play a mix of classical and world music and unite the best of both. Highly trained classical musicians from the
Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, they have played together for a decade with loads of experience,
stage presence and original interpretations of world music. Their music consists of original compositions, classical,
tango, brazilian, balkan, contemporary danish, flamenco, rumba and the list goes on.
They are praised for their virtuosity and musicality for example by the spanish master Diego Cayuelas: “..the best
interpretation I’ve ever heard..” and they have collaborated with the Diamond Ensemble in a radiotransmitted concert
in the Royal Danish Library Concert Hall (The Black Diamond) and they have given concerts all over Denmark and
been on tour in Mexico and Norway. They are also prize winners at the annual chamber music competition at the
Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2010 and 2012. Everything can happen whenever Copenhagen Guitar Duo
plays on stage!
