Dance Wordz from your Directors -
Hello DX Dancers & Families!!!
We hope everyone’s start up went as smooth as possible! We
might experience some bumps and little bruises as we get on a
clear path of how the schedule is working and adjusting our students in the best suitable classes for them!! I think we are almost there!!! Thank
you for your patience and support!
I want to let you know the exciting news for the studio. I have wanted the energy
level and enthusiasm to increase! So to increase that , I have wanted to partner
with someone who is just as enthusiastic and understands DX and what we are all
about!!
Knowing what the studio needs are - I put the energy out to the universe for that
special person and at the beginning of this year—there was Elise. I have known
Elise for a very long time -as a student of Spiral Dance where I taught- and in this
industry, always heard of her exciting dance adventures and knew of her teaching
and the great instruction she offers! Luckily Elise was available to help out at DX
this season and we started talking and it turned out to be a great fit for all.
So now together Elise and I are excited to work as partners and
breathe new life into the studio, also Elise is already in the loop
for the artistic side!! With teaching experience and a great
knowledge of the dance world and studio requirements- comps
coming up, costumes and knowing the needs of our clients this is just what we've been looking for.
This new partnership for DX is absolutely fantastic and I would
like to thank Elise and her supportive other half Pat for bringing their enthusiasm and hard work to helping DX and joining
our amazing team;) go DX!!
“Creativity is a matter of translating messages of passion, excitement, and soul into our own musical language through structure, harmony, rhythm, and style… the broader our exposure and the
more sensitive our inner listening, the richer our unique voice will be.” - Barry Green

“I believe that we learn by practice. Whether it means to
learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by
practicing living, the principles are the same. In each, it is
the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one's being, a satisfaction of spirit. One
becomes, in some area, an athlete of God. Practice means
to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a
means of inviting the perfection desired.”
― Martha Graham
