In the spring of 2001, the Graduate School of Law, Kobe University and
Faculty of Law, The University of Hong Kong co-organized a
multidisciplinary conference to discuss law and social change in Hong Kong
since .1997. The conference was first suggested by motion of Professor
Ryuhei Hatsuse. The program of the conference was as follows:
