THE ULTIMATE REUNION by Joe Stowell
The apostle Paul teaches us that at the coming of the Lord Jesus, those who
have gone on before will rise first and we “shall be caught up together
with them …. And thus we shall always be with the Lord!” (1 Thess
4:17). Now that’s a reunion I’m really looking forward to! ...
C S Lewis said, “Christians never say goodbye.” I’m eagerly awaiting that
ultimate reunion!

Connecting with Our Family Overseas
Pray for Rich and Anne Hoyt (Chad) that the Ebola virus will not
reach their community.
Pray also for John and Karen Short (Hong Kong) that the
situation there is not adversely impacting on them.
Continue to pray for persecuted Christians in Iraq and Syria.
Please continue to pray for Jean and John Forster. See Pam for some recent

Connecting with Our Family at Home
Pam Burton requests our prayers for her medical conditions. On Wednesday
she learnt that she now has cystoid macular odema which causes fluid and
swelling in the eyes. Her cataracts now need surgery ASAP. She will be
travelling with her daughter to Melbourne on October 21st to see a professor
about her leg surgery and also a infectious diseases doctor. She will be back by
November 5th. Pray also for safety on the road.
Continue to pray for Les, Celia and Julie Beal and Don and Joy Thompson.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with
thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
