The mission of Fort Myers Institute of
Technology is to provide high quality career and
technical training, in order to prepare students
for current and emerging industries, delivered
by a professional and caring staff in a positive
learning environment.

Certified Nursing Assistants are in great

Completion of this program provides
students preparation for certification.
Assistant
Length of Nursing Assistant Program:
120 hours–Approximately four weeks when offered
full time. The program is also available part-time
during evening hours; approximately 3½ months
Certification:
Completion of this program allows students to sit
for the state certified Nursing Assistant exam to
become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
