Indo-US conference and workshop on Synthetic and Systems Biology ,

Indo-US conference and workshop on Synthetic and Systems Biology ,
November 9-12 2014, JNU convention center, New Delhi.
In recent years, the global scientific and industry community has launched big research
initiatives, Centers of Excellence and networking events in the areas of Synthetic and
Systems Biology. Though in India, there are shining examples of great individual efforts
and accomplishments, there is a pressing need to move as a community and solve
socially relevant problems in health & agriculture sciences. Given fast-paced
developments globally, there has been an increased realization of building scientific
networks, identifying important problems and working towards a common goal. The
great news is that both Government and Industry are increasingly getting aware and
committing funding to support innovations in the areas of Synthetic and Systems
Biology. To share the latest developments with the emerging student and scientific
community leading to novel innovation pathways, we are organizing an International
Conference and Workshop on Synthetic and Systems Biology jointly with School of
Computational & Integrative Sciences, JNU, New Delhi and ICARES, WUSTL,USA, at
convention hall, JNU from November 9-12, 2014. This event is mainly supported by the
Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi
& NSF, USA. We are cordially inviting you to participate and widely circulate
information of this event as we are expecting active participation from your students
(poster is enclosed).
