October 12, 2014
28TH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
October 12, 2014
28th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Jesus described the kingdom of
heaven as a “wedding feast”. So did Isaiah
the prophet who described God as providing
a feast with fine food and drink and “he will
destroy death forever”. Even though Jews at
that time (600 BC) did not know what
happened after death, Isaiah was convinced
death would not be the end. We Christians
believe God, who raised Jesus from the dead,
will raise up those who belong to the Body of
Christ.
In this month of October, once more
