The Southern Peninsula Basketball Association is pleased to announce the resigning of Jamilee Pearce (JLP) with the Lady Sharks. JLP played a pivotal role with the Sharks during the 2014 Big V season, although injured for the most part of the season Jamilee was still able to provide guidance and leadership, and not to mention some impressive numbers either side of her injury. Lady Sharks Head Coach Gerard Hillier “the resigning of JLP was crucial for our program in moving forward, with such a young group we really needed the leadership, guidance, and experience of Jamilee” and “Jamilee does not only just bring great experience to the program but also a strong offensive threat and has the ability to lock down defensively at the other end”. Jamilee will be joined by the sharks graduating juniors; in Eliza West, Georgia Cox and Ella Hellessey, along with fellow marquee player Courtney Middap. With the signing period drawing close to an end; this is shaping up to one of the biggest seasons on record for the Southern Peninsula Lady Sharks, so stay tuned for any further signings and news. “Sharks Pride”
