The Department of Medical Imaging at PRHC is currently recruiting a fellowship-trained interventional radiologist (IR) for a full time permanent position working half time as a General Radiologist. The successful candidate will join a group of 15 Radiologists. PRHC has a busy IR service, carrying out over 4,000 cases per year. There are 2 IR suites with an adjacent 12 bed prep/recovery area. PRHC is a regional vascular surgery centre as well as a regional dialysis centre, with a busy general surgical service and oncology clinic We provide diagnostic imaging services for the Ross Memorial hospital in Lindsay, Campbellford Memorial Hospital as well as satellite coverage of Minden and Haliburton hospitals. The Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) is a 400 bed regional hospital. Interventional/General Radiologist Position Qualifications and Duties:  Currently registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario  Fellow Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a current Ontario license for Diagnostic Imaging  Strong clinical training and experience in General and Interventional Radiology  Demonstrated analytical ability  Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, directors, managers, and the community as required     Actively encourage a spirit of co-operation amongst team members Eligible for active staff privileges at Peterborough Regional Health Centre Participate in on-call roster Evidence of ongoing continued medical education Peterborough’s a Great Move: When you work at PRHC, you’ve got the best of both worlds.
