Fevers, not feeling well were reported as the weekly illness in both buildings and Hand, Foot and Mouth in K. October 15th is national WASH YOUR HANDS with soap and water day. With all the viruses popping up, it is a good idea to teach your children how to wash their hands. Turn water on, add soap and work into a good lather, soap hands above and under and between fingers while humming ABCs or Happy Birthday songs. Grab paper towels and dry hands and turn off faucet. Teach your child to always wash their hands with soap and water before eating, after using the bathroom, and when in doubt. Vision screenings were done in Grade 7. Heights and Weights were done during PE at Melrose.
