OPEN SECTION : Open Riders MUST sign a DAY ATTENDANCE form before riding.

* Minimum age for Open riders is 12 years of age on the day of event, unless graded by PCAV for corresponding grade and card
is presented.
Trophy 1st Overall. Sashes 1st to 6th Place. Dressage to 3rd Place (must have competed in both phases to be eligible)

Medical Armbands and saddle blanket/bridle numbers must be worn. Open Riders must ride under Pony Club rules and
comply with PCAV GEAR CHECK STANDARDS AT EACH PHASE.

Conditions of Entry. Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions.

Entry Fee is $40- per entry for PCAV members and $50- for all others. Open Invitational is $15- per entry for PCAV members.
Open Riders
a.
Everybody fills in the Liability Declaration Form
b. $10 Day Attendance Fee is due UNLESS you are a financial member* of EV/EA; AHS; SHCA; AERA; an Interstate Pony Club; or can prove personal Liability
Cover of at least $10,000,000. *Must produce proof.
c.
Riders without adequate Insurance Cover pay $10 for Liability Only cover for the duration of the event. (Not personal Medical) and complete the Day
Participant Waiver.
d. PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office.
PCAV Insurance Policy specifically states anyone not following PCAV Rules may be left uninsured.
No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $10 will be deducted.
Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.
The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the
reason.
Competitors may ride more than one horse, subject to the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-laws multiple horse rules.
Complying helmets must worn, spot checks may occur.
Gear Check: required for all riders before each phase.
Medical Armbands: must be worn by all competitors.
Riders under eight years of age may not compete, horses must be at least age four, no stallions, colts or rigs.
Competitor numbers - the organising committee will pre-allocate and advise numbers. Competitors must supply their own numbers.
PCAV Alcohol Policy applies.
Dogs are prohibited without exception.
Queries, protests, horse abuse, rules as per the PCAV Handbook of By-Laws.
PCAV Lungeing Policy applies.
Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to
horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.

Open Invitational Training: Involves Grade 5 dressage test A and a small cross rail show jumping
course. Tests and show jumping may be lead and/or called. This section is designed for competitors
not quite ready to compete in Grade 5. Ribbons shall be awarded to all participants within this
section.
PCAV Members must present card..
All Entrants must complete a Day Attendance Form.
All Non PCAV Member Competitors in this section must pay an additional $10 Day Attendance Fee.
Open Invitational Training Entry: $15 per rider (plus $10- Day attendance fee as required)
