Pick-a-Fence Scoring:
 Riders may attempt the highest fence option for their class. If they clear that successfully they
proceed to the next fence. If they stop, they may then attempt the next available height. If they
stop again, then the lowest option may be attempted and the competitor will receive the points for
that element. If they fail to negotiate an obstacle, they may continue to the next fence but will
score no points.
 Junior & Novice riders may only jump the option on their marked course, not a higher option.
 Riders must give way to horses which catch up with them on the course but may then proceed at
a safe distance. Jump judges are authorised to eliminate riders who do not maintain a safe
distance between themselves and the preceding horse.
