CHRIST THE KING FESTIVAL Sunday, October 26, 2014 Please plan to join us for the Christ the King Festival in the Academy Quad, following the 10:00am Solemn High Mass & Procession. Two vans will be available to transport those who cannot walk the length of the procession to the Benediction Altar. Reminder: Whenever we have Mass in the auditorium, the proper respect shown towards the altar when crossing the center is to bow before the consecration and to genuflect after. Requested donations: $20/family with children up to 18 years old, $5/individual (all proceeds cover the expenses of the festival). To this end, we will take up a 2nd Collection at all of the Masses on October 26. Territories include: The United States with Texas and New Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, England, Wales, France, Slovakia, Italy, Poland, Germany, Mexico, Philippines Canada, Palestine, Egypt, Greece, Lebanon and more! Pony rides and hay rides will be offered in the field near Our Lady's Grotto. Hot dogs, hot chocolate, and hot beverages, including Abbey Roast coffee, will be served all day. Enjoy the cuisine, music and dancing from countries around the globe. Outdoor Rosary: during Vespers at 5:00pm. First Holy Communicants of last year (this year’s 2nd grade) are asked to wear their First Communion outfits and meet the Sisters in the auditorium before Mass. West on Palmer to 5th Street, with the first Benediction at 5th and Bertrand on Moats' grass lot. North on 5th, then east on Mission back to Campus. Return to Auditorium via the west parking lot.
