JNC 18’s Location and Venue
All activities of the JNC 18 will take place at El
Mouradi Skanes Hotel**** situated at the seaside of
the area of Monastir on the east coast of Tunisia.
Welcoming participants, distribution of documents
and check in will start on Saturday, December, 20th
from 3.00 pm to 8.00 pm (for latecomers on Sunday
21th before the opening ceremony.) Check out will
be on Thursday, December 24th after breakfast.

JNC 18’s Objectives
Registration
Centrepiece of the Tunisian Chemical Society, the
“Journées Nationales de Chimie” - JNC - scheduled
periodically every two years, constitute a big event
not only for the Tunisian chemists family but also
for our friends chemists neighbouring countries. We
do hope that JNC 18 will be an exciting forum to
discuss the latest advances in chemistry science
and research in the academic field as well as in the
industrial one.

Program of the JNC 18
The program of JNC 18 includes:
 plenary lectures (40 minutes)
 invited lectures (30 minutes)
 oral (15 minutes) and posters communications
 an exhibition of scientific equipment
The full program will be available later on the
website of the SCT.
A booklet containing all the conference abstracts
and papers will be distributed to participants.
Authors are required to provide a summary of an
A5 page in MS-Word format according to the
following instructions:
 Superior margin of 2.5 cm, 2,2 cm margins on
each side and a bottom margin of 1.5 cm. A
template model is available for download in
JNC 18‟s website.
 Title in uppercase (centered, Times 10, bold,
spacing 1)
 Authors' names (centered, Times 9, spacing 1)
with presenting author „s name underlined
 Authors‟ affiliation (centered, Times 8, italic,
spacing 1)
 Text (justified, Times 9, spacing 1).
Posters Presentation
Posters should be 1.20 m high and 0.90 m wide.
Abstracts of posters will be numbered and listed in the
final program. Authors are requested to be next to their
posters during the official poster sessions.
