Vocabulary is Important for Middle School
Students!
Middle school is a time when
communication is vital and a
strong vocabulary becomes
more important.
Students are expected to
express themselves much
more in their writing with
longer essays, reports, projects and test responses.

Student-Led
Conference Night
Our Student Led Conference Night will be held on
Thursday, November 6,
2014.
The BTW staff and students have been trained to
prepare for and conduct a
successful conference. The
sixth grade teachers are
introducing this new approach and preparing the
students for the upcoming
event.
The student-led conference
format gives the student an
active role in the confer-
ence, sharing an accurate
and complete account of
his/her academic and social
achievements while at
school. A brochure and sign
-up sheet will be sent home
on October 22nd.
