Tuesday Oct 21, 2014 5:30 pm North Thompson Fall Fair Hall For info & submissions The Board of Directors of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing in the North Thompson Fall Fair Hall at 677 Barriere Lakes Road, Barriere, BC V0E 1E0, to consider proposed Bylaw No. 2481. This public hearing is delegated to the Chair and Directors representing Electoral Areas “O” and “P”. What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2481, 2014? It amends the Zoning Bylaw No. 2400, RL-1: Rural zone by adding a site specific provision in the case of approximately 27 hectares of unsurveyed Crown land near Fishtrap Mountain, Kamloops Division Yale District (off Gorman Lake Forest Service Road, west of Barriere, BC), as shown shaded on the map below. Bylaw 2481 would allow a sport shooting range with ancillary club house facilities in addition to the uses already permitted in the RL-1 Zone upon the subject land.
