to a private event taking place in the Main Dining Room. We

KIDS HALLOWEEN BINGO NIGHT
On Thursday, October 30, we will be hosting our annual Kids
Halloween Bingo Night for children and adults. Dress to impress
and wear your best costumes for our contest! This event will
start at 5:30pm in the Main Dining Room. Adults $15.95++ and
kids $11.95++. Cost includes; dinner, goodie bags, candy, PRIZES
and more! Bingo cards are $1 each. RSVP at the Front Desk.
Space is limited.
PRE-TRICK OR TREAT BUFFET DINNER BY FIRE PITS
Calling on all ghosts, goblins, princesses and pirates to join
us with family and friends for a buffet dinner before leaving on
your quest for candy! Dinner will be served by the fire pits
on Friday, October 31 from 5 - 7pm. Cost is $12++ for adults

Moraga Rotary Club will be making and filling 330 Christmas
stockings to be distributed to underprivileged children in Contra
Costa County. The stockings are filled with toiletries, socks,
small games, candy and more. In past years, MCC residents have
donated left-over Halloween candy. Your contributions can be
left in a box on the porch at the Dochterman's home at 762

Attention MCC Homeowners:
The Annual Community-Wide Garage Sale will be held on Saturday, November 1 from 9AM to 3PM. If

SMGA TURKEY SHOOT
REMINDER: SMGA TURKEY SHOOT ON NOVEMBER 6
The Senior Men's Golf Association Turkey Shoot will be held on November 6 to benefit the Food Bank
of Contra Costa and Solano. The cost is $75 per person, which includes a golf cart, range balls,
breakfast and lunch. Shotgun starts at 8:30am. We would like to encourage the support of all MCC
golfing groups; Seniors, MWGA, Niners, MGA, the "Bulls" and any non-affiliated golfer. Non-MCC
members are welcome to play for only $125 per person. Guests who do not wish to play golf can join
the group for lunch and donate to a worthy cause. Cost is $40 per person. For more information or

FRIDAY NIGHT MIXER
Mark your calendars for the next Friday Night Mixer on October 24 from 6:30 to 8:00pm. Join us for
some fun social tennis followed by pizza, salad, dessert and beer. Cost will be $15 per member.
Want to bring a guest? Guests are invited to this mixer for HALF OFF! There will be a Halloween
theme to this event, so costumes are encouraged. Please email [email protected] if you

PRIVATE CLUB EXPERIENCE
The next Private Club Exchange will be held on Wednesday, October 22. Matches start at 7:00pm
and will be held at MCC (men teams) and Claremont (women teams). Contact the Tennis Shop if you

OUT OF BOUNDS RIGHT SIDE OF HOLE #1
Please notice the out of bounds stakes to the right of hole #1. This will hopefully alleviate any
confusion as to the course of action due to a ball headed toward the right side of hole #1.
NCGA HANDICAP RATINGS
The NCGA has just re-rated our golf course and the new handicap charts are currently up.
The changes have started immediately.
COURSE PROJECTS
The golf course projects are almost done. We thank you for your patience during the course
construction.
THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP OCTOBER 24 & 25
Open to all MGA members who have earned a minimum of 30 points or who played in a minimum of
3-point series events. Lunch and dinner to follow the event. Format will be a 36-hole stroke play.
Tee times start Friday at 11am and shotgun starts Saturday morning at 8:30am.

FROM THE POOL
LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY
Unless the beautiful October weather changes into rain, lifeguards will be on duty during
the weekdays 3 - 10pm and weekends 12 - 10pm. This will continue through the middle of
November. Please make sure there is pool staff before sending your children under 14 to the
pool by themselves.
LAMORINDA WATER POLO AT MCC POOL
The Lamorinda Water Polo Team will be practicing in the main pool on Wednesday evenings
from 7:15 - 9pm. The team will only take up 5 lanes, leaving plenty of space for lap swimmers and
free swim. Thank you for your consideration.
WATER AEROBICS
Join us for Water Aerobics on Monday and Thursday evenings 5:00-6:00PM. For more information or

POOL CLOSURE
Reminder: Weekly Pool Maintenance is from 7-9am on Monday mornings.
FALL SWIM PROGRAM
The Albany Armada Swim Meet will be held at OPP on November 1. This meet is open to anyone
registered in the Fall Swim Program. For more information and if you're interested in signing up for
the meet, contact Sean Mason at [email protected].
The Fall Swim Program is an after school program that will run through the end of November. To
register your swimmers, please email their names and t-shirt sizes to Sean.
