After studying videography in Finland and computer graphics in the Netherlands, she gained an MA in Computing in Design at Middlesex University. Mari has worked in the fields of documentary and cross media since the late 80’s. With a wide experience in various forms of audio-visual communication, her primary tools are the video camera and the computer. In 2000, she started a creative studio LPMA Recordings with her husband Leo Anemaet. Based in Amsterdam, they develop and produce feature documentaries, cross media design, music and sound composition. LPMA Productions is their Finnish film branch, which supports Mari’s documentaries.
