1. About Body Temperatures
What is body temperature?
Body temperature is the internal heat level of the human body. Normal temperature
is the body temperature of healthy people. This slightly varies within certain limits.
The body temperature can vary according to environment, time and activities. For
example, a person’s body temperature can be 0.5°C higher at night time than early
in the morning.
Body temperature control
The central nerve in the brain’s hypothalamus controls the body temperature,
maintaining a certain level. When body temperature goes up, blood vessels on the
inside of the skin expand, causing sweat to be released from the sweat gland,
resulting in great losses of heat.

What is fever?
Normally, when bacterial, virus, or other pathogens attack the body, fever occurs.
Other reasons can be tissue damage or blood diseases like burns and myocardial
infarction. An elevated temperature or fever is often viewed as a danger sign.
A fever can be beneficial and helps our immune system work more effectively.
Infants body temperature
Infants cannot sufficiently control body temperature and environment temperature
affects them. If indoor temperature is high, the infant’s body temperature rises and
vice versa. It is important to measure infant’s body temperatures regularly.
> Normal temperatures can be checked by calculating the average value for several days
at regular hours in the morning and evening. Infant’s body temperature can show
changes about 0.5Ⳅ according to the surrounding temperature. For example, when
temperatures for 8 A.M. is 36.7Ⳅ and 8 P.M is 37.3Ⳅ, the normal temperature range
is 36.7Ⳅ to 37.3Ⳅ and the normal temperature is 37Ⳅ Fever occurs when body
temperature rises 1Ⳅ compared to normal temperature.
> Recommended indoor temperature: 24°C to 26°C
Recommended humidity: 40% to 60%

> Infant should not be covered with swaddles and placed on heated floors during
summer. If malaria occurs or if body temperature increases too high, it can cause
dehydration or fever. In worst cases, it can cause coma or cramps.

2. Brief introduction of product
This product is a Non-Contact IR Thermometer
Thermofinder safely measures body temperature without contacting the skin.
Thermofinder measures body temperature in less than 2 seconds.
Carefully read the manual before using the product.
3. Simple operating principle
When your body is hot, you touch your forehead, because body temperature
is reflected on the forehead.
Thermofinder measures infrared energy radiated from the forehead via a
sensor. Once it has analyzed the amount of IR energy, it converts it to a
temperature value.
Thermofinder is a contactless type of thermometer which allows the user to
measure body temperature about 2 to 3 cm away from the forehead, thereby
decreasing the possibilities of infections or discomfort resulting from contact.
