Family Events
8-9am - Registration for the Red Nose Reindeer 5K Fun
Run, @ Little Falls Family YMCA.
9am - Start time for the Red Nose Reindeer 5K Fun Run.
Santa Claus will fire the starting gun!
9am - HALO Christmas Tree lighting at Adirondack Bank.
9-10:45am - Visit with Santa at the Little Falls Fire Station,
on the corner of Main Street and William Street.
Sponsored by the brave firefighters of the Little Falls
Fire Department!
9am-Noon - Supporting Our Troops and Building Bridges
to Peace, at the Little Falls Community Center, East
Main Street. Make Christmas cards for our brave service
men and women, and make bracelets for them to
distribute as tokens of friendship overseas.
10am-Noon - Write and mail letters to Santa Claus, in the
Adirondack Bank lobby.
10-11am - Come and cheer on your favorite wait-staff as
they race for charity ... without spilling their trays ladden
with drinks ... in the First Annual Waiter/Waitress Race!

10-11am - FREE bracelet-making at the Little Falls Library

10am-Noon - Cookie exchange at the LF Antique Center.

games at the Little Falls Community Center.
10am-1pm - FREE Horse and Carriage rides! Take a tour
of downtown Little Falls, departing from the Little Falls
Historical Society.
10am-2pm - Visit the Little Falls Historical Society
Museum, and see this year’s unique and special
Christmas exhibit!
11am-Noon - Enjoy a splendid readers' theater version of
Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol at the Little Falls
Community Center!
11am-1pm - Visit with Santa at the Knights Inn. Highquality photos are available, sponsored by the Frontier
Council Girl Scouts!
11am-2pm - Soup Fest: taste all of the delicious homemade soups and stews by the best chefs from Little
Falls! All proceeds to benefit local charities.
1pm-?? - Free Christmas movies at Valley Cinema. Enjoy a
FREE showing of Frozen at 1pm, followed by a
marathon of FREE showings of all the great holiday
classics until the wee hours of the morning. Donations
are gratefully accepted for the Valley Cinema Go Digital
or Go Dark campaign!
Music Events
Friday, 8pm-?? - Enjoy the Olive Branch Ball on Friday
night, December 13th, at the DeCarlo Staffo Post!
Listen to all your favorite local bands: Dick Solberg (Sun
Mountain Fiddler), JAB ... and some amazing surprise
appearances, such as a sit-in by famed banjo-player Eric
Weissberg! Admission is totally FREE!
Saturday, 12:30-2pm - Enjoy the seasonal music of the
Benton Hall Hand Bell Chorus, followed by piano and
instrumental recitals by Benton Hall and LFHS students,
at the Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts.
Saturday, 2-3:30pm - Get into the Holiday spirit with the
amazing spiritual and seasonal music of Homeward
Bound, directed by Jane Malin, at the Mohawk Valley
Center for the Arts.
Saturday, 2-4pm - Rock with the fantastic new local band
phenomenon, Heard and the Wonderfish! Enjoy the
trendy music, along with a wine-tasting and great food,
at the Piccolo Café!
Saturday, 5:30-7:30pm - Chill-out to the jazzy beat of local
artists Oscar Stivala and Friends, at the Raven’s Watch
Antiques and Art Gallery!
Saturday, 9pm-1am - End the day relaxing with friends to
the sounds of Common Ground, at the Shu-Maker
Mountain Sports Complex, with a $5 donation to
HALO & Herkimer County Humane Society.
Sunday, 4-7pm - Gala Fundraiser Ball! Come out to the
Knights Inn from 4-7pm on Sunday for a fundraiser
Gala Ball to support Valley Cinema's Go Digital or Go
Dark Campaign! Listen to the classic rock sounds of
Cleen Street, and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

Adult Events
9am-?? - Enjoy one of Moose’s world-famous Tom and
Jerrys, available at Ed and Bud’s Bar and Grille!
2-4pm - Wine-tasting at Piccolo Cafe; find your own 'veritas
in vino' as you listen to rock and classical favorites
performed by the fantastic local band "Heard and the
Wonderfish"!
4:30-5:30pm - Grown-up story hour at Ole Sal's! The
reading will feature a delightful holiday story by Alan
Gurganus, and a poem by Dylan Thomas. All are
welcome at this ever-popular event!
5-10pm - Fine Christmas dining at Canal Side Inn.
