Exhibition Terms and Information
 The sponsor of this exhibition is Chiddingfold Watercolour Group. The organisers will take
every care to ensure the safety of the work displayed, but cannot be held responsible for any
breakages, loss or damage during the preparation and duration of this event.
 All items for display must be by non professionals who either live in the Parish of
Chiddingfold or who are members of Chiddingfold Watercolour Group.
 The organisers reserve the right to accept or refuse entries at their discretion.
 Up to eight paintings and/or framed photographs may be entered for hanging (only two of
these can be not for sale (NFS).
 Eight folios (mounted, unframed) will also be accepted. Protect these in clear acetate film.
 A number of craft items may be entered, subject to their size and space availability.
 Cost of each entry: up to £5 — free, up to £10 — 25p, up to £50 — 50p, items over £50 —
£1. NFS items — £2. Children 16 and under items are free, but pay % on sales.
This is payable in advance together with the application form.
 Cheques payable to ‘Chiddingfold Watercolour Group’.
 There will be a 10% commission for sold items up to & inc. £50 and 15% over this amount.
This goes towards covering exhibition costs and purchasing new items for future events.
 All art and craft entries must be marked with a title, your name, telephone number and price on
the reverse or in a suitable position that will not show.
 Framed artwork MUST be ready to hang with wire or cord attached. Stretched canvases
should be provided with a hanging device or a deep enough frame to hang safely.
 Acceptance of exhibits will be 3.00pm to 4.00pm, Friday 14 November CW Room
 Collection of exhibits must be between 4.00pm to 5.00pm, Sunday 16 November CW Room
 The organisers are not responsible for uncollected exhibits.
 Forms and payment must be returned by Friday 31 October to one of the organisers:
