Intercessory Prayer “If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. . . .” (1 Cor. 12:26) The Plight of Iraq & Syria: The world seems to stand helpless as resistance across Iraq and Syria was crushed with extreme violence, as people who refused to convert to Islam were killed or brutally beheaded. More than 160,000 people have fled the predominantly Kurdish town of Kobane in the face of the IS advance. May the Lord intervene in the plight of these people! JUBA, South Sudan: The Sudanese Air Force dropped four bombs on an Episcopal Church of Sudan (ECS) complex in the Nuba Mountains on Friday (Oct. 10). “The bombs have completely destroyed our church compound in Tabolo,” the Rev. Youhana of the ECS told Morning Star News. Iran: Three converts to Christianity, Shahram, Heshmat and Emad were seized on Sep 27th. Security officials also raided the home of Shahram and confiscated his books and computer. Shahram was in the process of creating a film about Jesus. However, the project was disrupted after authorities arrested several of the cast members. Some of the members were even forced to leave the country due to ongoing pressure. According to sources, it is very likely that the recent arrest of these three men is related to their involvement in the production of this film. May our Father grant them peace and strength; they soon be released; the film will be produced without any hindrance.
