(1 Corinthians 12:26)
India: Vani (31 years old) was charged with kidnapping and
forcing a child to convert to Christianity. She was jailed for
15 days. During her time in jail, she shared her faith with
more than 70 women--14 of whom became believers. Even
her jailer encouraged her to continue sharing her faith after
witnessing a dramatic change in several other prisoners who
accepted Jesus. She later died from a heart attack.
Laos: 5 Christian leaders were charged with medical
malpractice after praying for a sick woman who later died.
The Christians were ordered to serve nine months in prison
and pay a fine for causing her death.
Middle East: The world has been terrified by the atrocities
of the Islamic militants (ISIS). Hundreds of believers are still
being held.
