STORY
Alien Abduction is a sci-fi thriller capturing the story of the Morris Family’s disappearance in the Brown Mountains of
North Carolina. While on a camping trip in the remote region, youngest son Riley, sees mysterious lights in the night sky,
which he is able to record on his hand held video camera. The film is the recovered footage from the boy’s camera.

For centuries, people have been disappearing
on and around Brown Mountain, Nor th Carolina,
USA. Locals believe the disappearances
are directly linked with sightings of the
unexplained phenomenon known as the Brown
Mountain Lights.
TIMELINE:
1200: Some of the earliest repor ts come from
Cherokee and Catawba Indians who witness
strange lights in the area known today as the
Brown Mountains.
1812: A plantation owner hunting in the
mountains is lost. His slaves mount a rescue
par ty and were last seen searching through the
hills with lanter ns. They never retur ned.
1850: When a woman disappears in the local
town, ever yone in the community joins the
search at the same time the strange lights
appear on Brown Mountain. No trace of her
body was ever found, and a large g roup of
searchers disappeared themselves.

2000: The f irst good footage of the Brown Mountain Lights of Nor th
Carolina is captured. Observers witness mysterious balls of light
moving around a ridge at night:
