We had a great Sunday this week! Five were baptized
Sunday evening. What a joy to be a part to God moving in the lives of people and adding them to our fellowship! Please make welcome with me the

Please join the VIP’s Saturday, October 18, as we leave the church at 8:00 a.m. for the Henry
Farm. If you have not already signed up, please email or call the church to let us know you’re
going. The cost is $10.
TRUNK-a-TREAT Outreach Opportunity
We need lots of help with trunk, pick up beds, or any other creative way to stage a booth in the
parking lot to provided fun, candy, and a witness for Christ to the guests we have on October 31,
from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Bring your candy to the candy box in the foyer. THANK YOU for your
help with this. We need lots of candy!!!
Let’s remember as we prepare for this event that we do not want to glorify evil. So, let’s try to
make it a creative night of Non-Evil dress-up and fun. Also, if you can bring some pies, cakes, or
other deserts for the cake-walk we would appreciate it. And did I mention…

Walk For the World
Next Saturday, October 25, 10 AM—1 PM, is Walk for the World! A light lunch will be served.
How exciting to be able to help with a Radio-Television-Internet ministry that carries the gospel of
Jesus Christ all over the world! It even goes places missionaries cannot go! It is a worthy cause!
By the way, I need some sponsors. I would like to challenge you to sponsor me or another
walker for a generous amount. What a great investment in the Kingdom of our Lord!
114th Annual Session of the BMA of Texas!
The annual meeting of the BMA of Texas is Tuesday, November 4-5, at Keltys First Baptist
Church in Lufkin. The theme is “Pressing Forward!” from Philippians 3:13-14. It would be nice to
take a van load of people if a qualified driver would volunteer.

WMA Meeting/Dinner is rescheduled to Tuesday, October 21 at 6:30 PM in the fellowship hall. Hostesses, Jo Strong and Linda Henry will provide chicken strips and
rolls and we need to sign up on the bulletin board what vegetable or dessert to bring.
Plan to come for a great fellowship!
Instant Church Directory Pictures will be taken on Sunday, October 19 and Sunday, October 26 from 9 AM—9:30 AM in Fellowship Hall to New Members only
or any member who does NOT have a picture in the directory.
Feed By Grace 3rd Saturday of each month. The next one is October 19. If you would like
to help serve or donate to feed the homeless \ please see Victor or Zulema Gonzalez.
Please plan to come help make sandwiches on Friday, October 18 at 7:00 PM. Thanks for
