At Lamine Valley Red Angus, our
goal is to breed bulls that will make
your job less difficult and more profitable.
Our 35 years experience in the cattle business has taught us three
things that are needed to happen if our customers are to make money:
1. Every cow must raise a calf;
2. Every calf must grow on the milk
and forage available;
3. Each calf must grade at harvest to
keep the buyers coming back.
With that in mind, we stress calving
ease with typically 30% of our bulls
meeting calving ease standards set for
Show-me Select Sires.
We develop moderate size cattle that work on fescue. The cows are
mated to proven A.I. sires. The offspring produced will have 80% of
their EPDs above breed average. All are high in calving ease, heifer
pregnancy, stayability and carcass merit traits. You won’t find single
trait curve benders in our herd.
We sell our bulls and females Private Treaty at the farm.
