The High School Faith Formation class is open to
adults who wish to strengthen their Faith and knowledge of
church teachings. Upcoming classes include:

GUEST TEACHER. Mr. Greg Stearns from TJCA
Votive candles are available for purchase in the
narthex of the church to light at home in honor of
St. Jude (feastday October 28) and Our Lady of
Guadalupe (feastday December 12). Donation is
$5. These candles are made of high quality wax,
wicks and glass. When placed on a candle safe
surface and left undisturbed, they will burn cleanly.
These are not the cheaply made candles one finds in the
local grocery stores. We do not recommend purchase of
these candles for safety reasons. All of our candles made by
one of the best candle makers in America, the A.I. Root
Co, a family owned company for five generations, located
in Medina, Ohio.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

Adults who are interested in becoming Catholic, who
need the Sacrament of Confirmation, or who are just in
need of a refresher course, are invited to join the RCIA
class—the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
Classes in English meet most Wednesdays at 6:30 PM
in the St. Mary Parish Hall. Contact the parish office for
the complete schedule of classes, or refer to the weekly
parish schedule in the bulletin. RCIA classes in Spanish are
held on Sunday mornings 11:25 AM-12:40 PM during
Faith Formation.
Mass on the Feastday of Pope St. John Paul II will be
celebrated at 7:15 PM Wednesday, October 22. Our parish
has obtained a relic of the new saint from Cardinal Stanislaw
Diwisz, long-time aid and friend of the late pope. You will
have the opportunity to venerate this relic after Mass.

Drive on Tuesday, November 11, 12:30-5:00 PM. Call

FAITH FORMATION CLASSES HAVE BEGUN!
If you have not already registered for Faith Formation
please contact Jean in the parish office to set up a time for
registration. You will need to bring a copy of your child’s
Baptismal certificate, unless he was Baptized at St. Mary or
Christ the King, and the tuition payment of $35 per family.

This is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation this year as it
falls on a Saturday.
Sunday, November 2nd — All Souls Day
The annual packs of offering envelopes contain All
Souls Novena envelopes. Please turn these in as soon as
possible with the names of the deceased for whom you
wish to pray. Envelopes will remain on the altar for the
duration of the novena. Extras envelopes are available in
the narthex.

Mass will be celebrated at 8:00 AM with Eucharistic
Adoration following until 9:00 PM, with Benediction at 8:45
